TOWN END
You may be aware that we have jointly with TrustSTFC asked
fans not stand in either the aisles, or the safety areas marked
with yellow hatching, within the Town end stand .
We have been advised, that the Safety advisory committee comprising of the local authority and emergency services have told the Football Club that they will withdraw the licence to the Football Club for using the Town end, if the present problem persists.
This is not an idle threat - the threat is imminent and unless the situation improves, immediately, then the Town end could be closed indefinitely, fragmenting the superb support that the team get from that area.
Any decision to close the area would also have an adverse and dramatic impact both on fans who love the atmosphere of watching from the Town End, as well as of course the football club.
We urge everyone to understand, what is expected from them and to all fans in that area please ensure that you encourage compliance, otherwise the repercussions would be unthinkable.
