COMMENT
There is no doubt that the Football Club is again facing
difficult times, both on and off the field.
Many fans stick with the club through thick and thin and whilst they may not be necessarily be happy with every facet of the club they are still prepared to help fund professional football within the Town. They do this through purchase of season, or match day tickets, or support fund raising or commercial activities.
There are others who seem content to jump on the "anti" this or that, bandwagon and voice there opinions in a destructive manner, whilst at the same time professing to withdraw their support until things get better. Which actually, when they do this, only makes things worse.
The critical comment on airwaves, by people who often, may not perhaps go to matches, or who may criticise out of blind ignorance, only delays potential improvements at the club, both on and or off the field.
At this vital time we would urge everyone, who ever you may be, to put up by attending matches etc, or shut up. At present negative comments, are not what is needed, as the Club fights for survival in League 1 and perhaps even its own future.
The Red Army loud and Proud campaign at the last home game started to bring a positive air back to the Football Club, continued by the enthusiastic support at Brentford .

The Supporters Club has now contributed close to £70000 to the football club, since its formation 6 years ago.
Around half of this has been given in support of The Centre of Excellence, including on going support this season of at least £5000.
Our fund raising is mainly through our half time draw and the pounds for points scheme initiative, which any supporter or group of supporters can join for a little as 50p per point.
